I always go to the Donut Friar when I visit Gatlinburg (2-3x a year). The glazed croissants and cinnamon twists are simply amazing. The chocolate eclair - oh my, the best I've ever had. When I pass the people waiting in a hour long line to go to the pancake joint, I just laugh - they are missing out on... More

We got into Gatlinburg late in the evening. One of my favorite places to visit in Gatlinburg is the Village at night. I just like the feel of the place. When we arrived, we all headed to the Donut Friar, a place that we have visited many times over the years. Since we were so late in the evening, there... More

During our recent stay we visited this business 3 times. Very friendly and delicious. It seems like they were never closed. Donuts and croissants were fresh every time.

Donut Friar is the one place we always stop at! Everything is always fresh and delicious! We love this place and always get a box or two to take back home with us! The speciality coffees are really good also! Can't say enough good things about the Donut Friar!

We go here several times while on vacation in Gatlinburg. The pillows, the eclairs, crullers, and even their cake donuts just melt in your mouth. We always stop on the way in to town and this is our last stop out when we leave to travel home.

First time at the Donut Friar and maybe I've lived a sheltered life but the best donuts I've ever had and there is a place I love in my hometown but these have those beat. Will make this a stop on every trip from now on.

Ok, truth be told, I'm NOT a donut person and never have been. HOWEVER, these donuts are that good! I got the bavarian creme pillow and had a few bites of my child's cake donut. AMAZING!!!!!! A must do stop in Gatlinburg!

It is truly a hidden gem if you've never made it that far in the Village...CASH ONLY establishment that offers fresh homemade goodies...several varieties of donuts, cookies, eclairs, krullers, etc. Great cappuccino & coffee made to order. It can get cramped when you're trying to order but everything is priced so reasonable..if you have a dollar & change in your... More
