We come to Amed nearly every year and always have at least one lunch at this restaurant. The food is so incredibly delicious, the staff is so friendly (Eka showed me even the seafront bungalows) and the view is great! Thanks so much and see...you next year!More

Great location with sea views, excellent menu, although a bit on the high side. The food is excellent and the coffee superb. But staff can get buried in their phones. We sat there quite a while before the guy at the counter even noticed us...as he was obviously in love with his screen. Phone use should not be allowed during working hours. Otherwise a great experience.More

Got myself vegetable tempuras and a vegetable nasi goreng, plus a fresh mango juice. Mango juice pretty good Vegetable tempuras were ok but lacked a better sauce than just the too salty terryaki sauce. Vegetable Nasi goreng was a bit too dry for my taste....Both plates were providing really large portions. Each if them would be suffcient for a lunch. The view over the ocean is gorgeous and the place itself is rather inviting. Total prive for my lunch: 184 000rp. I consider it too pricey for an average food even though the view is nice. Other cheaper places also have a view...More

Had a lovely breakfast - a little more expensive than others in the area but larger servings with better food. Had dinner there too with the same results. Friendly staff. Free shuttle home. Great little place with view of sea.

Far from upmarket; but a class above many of the little restaurants in Amed. Had a seafood platter which was tasty and good value for money.

Just a few minutes walk from our accommodation, the Blue Moon Villas restaurant is everything we heard it could be. The location is high above the roofline affording excellent views. The ambience is wonderful. The menu extensive considering how far away the suppliers are and...very competitively priced. We ordered mixed sate and a chicken coconut curry. Before our meals came we were given a lovely home baked hot roll with pesto dipping sauce. They were scrumptious and we hoped, a sign of things to come. We were not disappointed! The sate was some of the best we’d ever tasted -and we’ve tasted plenty! The peanut sauce was delightful! The chicken curry was fragrant, spicy and came with a cone of delicious white and red rice and assorted vegetables. The fragrance translated extremely well into taste. A well rounded and nicely spiced curry with soft yet well cooked chicken. All washed down with some of the nicest frozen fruit margaritas ever! Oh and some Bintang beers. All for less than $50! Well worth it. The setting is lovely. We’re going back for lunch tomorrow!More

Komang Johns Cafe @ Blue Moon Villas, has a good selection of International wines. Also some wines made in Bali, both by the bottle and by the glass.
