This is our third visit and we continue to be very happy with the location, food and environment. We love walking through the grounds and the museum/shop before and/or after dinner. Very delicious food.

Visited Metis last night and can see what people rave about. Very expensive by Balinese standards, even for Australian but worth the spend. Service is exceptional and the food is amazing but the venue and gardens are beyond imagination. Tuna sashimi had a creative twist with jalapeños, tongue and cheek with soft creamy polenta was really something else. Soufflés for... More

Our first evening and Bali and we were booked into Metis. A beautiful venue with ambient lighting and a garden setting. The menu looked so good we all ordered starters and then main dishes. I chose mushrooms filled with escargot, loaded with plenty of garlic - they were delicious but so filling. I'd chosen fish, luckily for my main course... More

We went for Valentine's Day and as expected it was pretty busy. There is no denying the setting is absolutely beautiful and a lovely place to share a drink however from there it was distinctly average. Drinks were incredibly slow and in fact our drink order went missing on one occasion. Service was patchy with no defined waiter/waitress for our... More

We went for the set menu ... but food came out very slow as we had a party of 20. Tasty but got room for improvement. I would give it another try maybe next time but would not request for it.

Visited Metis for afternoon tea last week... Whilst we did make a reservation, we needn't have as we were the only customers there during our 1.5hr stay. As this was our third high/afternoon tea of our 2 week Bali trip, we left feeling a little underwhelmed. At approximately 400k for 2 persons, this was the most expensive afternoon tea of... More

A stunning setting with water and fire features whilst not being to serious with itself! The dining area is outdoors so you get to enjoy all the outdoor art. It gives a feeling of luxury and fine taste. The food was magnificent too. Modern with touches of asian flavours. Highly recommend.

Thank Helen R
