The price is cheap! The taste is amazing. The best warung I can find in Legian. I came 3-4 times a week to this place. 😅

Always serve the guests like family members. I love their natural service to all guests. The food also really good and fresh. I recommend the carrots & beans vegetable then combine with crunchy fried corn and some fried chicken and fried fish that will be...a delicious Nasi Campur. For drink I usually get a glass of orange juice.More

We love sampling local food in Bali away from all the noisy trendy places and here, we have found our ultimate favourite because you can really taste the authenticity of home cooked Balinese food in every serving. We go here daily when we're in Bali....The food is amazing. Just everything we love about Nasi Campur and there are so many choices and great servings. We are always greeted by the kind couple who serve. Most of all, the price is very reasonable. As it is with good warungs, lots of regular customers flock here at lunch. Arriving late means it is normal to end up with not a lot of choices and dishes that aren't hot. But they are kind enough to make sure you get a lot in your plate if you happen upon the last servings. Even then, we enjoyed dining here late. We have never had a bad experience here and recommend it to our friends.More

I've been going to Warung Melati for years, and it is where I go in Legian/Seminyak when I feel like authentic warung-style food, **very** reasonably-priced and served by extremely friendly people! If you've wondered where the old Warung Melati on Jalan Doublesix went, I can...report that the new location is even better. Rather than eating right on noisy Doublesix, they're now 20 meters or so down the small street exactly opposite the 'Switch' sandwich shop. It's quiet and a nice place to sit for a chat with the friendly owner Adi. The selection is great, and if you're vegetarian like me you'll find plenty of choices. As with any warung you'll have better selection earlier in the day. They do juices, and also definitely do not miss the traditional homemade desserts, called 'kolak' (I asked): pumpkin or yam mixed with coconut milk, just very slightly sweetened. Very good. If you'd like some authentic Indonesian cuisine (at frankly a breathtakingly low price) without having to leave Legian or Seminyak, it's just a few minutes' walk from the beach at Double Six.More

Warung melati is by far the best Indonesian food on the island. Its a long time favorite with both locals and westerners who have been living / visiting the island for a long time. The food us pure in flavor, not oily, clean and they...have great selection to choose from. Not to mention the price is amazing. For about 2-3 dollars you have the most beautiful plate of food right in front of you. You can choose between red rice, white rice or yellow rice and top it up with any type of fish, beef, chicken, vegetables or other delicious dishes. My personal favorite is the fish in a broth, ask for it as they keep it behind the counter. You can find warung melati in a little street opposite SWICH SANDWICHES in Legian, the little restaurant is at the end of the street. Best time to go is around 1 PM.More

For 15 years I visited (almost dailey!) family restaurant Warung Melati in Jalan Double Six in Legian, Bali. Last year because of rent increase they had to move to Kerobokan to a wrong location. And thank you so much:After 4 months they moved back to...Legian, now to Jalan Werkudara close to restaurant Marzano, enter the alley opposite Restaurant Sang Ria Grill and Belt Heaven. You will find Warung Melati at the end of the alley. They had to start small again, simple furniture and a small place, but the taste still heaven! An average lunch plate costs rp 25,000 (appr eu 1,50) and the juices around rp 20,000. A perfect place for a nice simple lunch and no MSG! Fridays closed.More

We had arrived in Legian late-afternoon after a very long drive and were after a quick bite to eat as we had missed lunch. Legian was experiencing a power outage so that limited the choice of places to go so we went for a warung...that would have a baine-marie set up. I went into this warung mistaking it for Warung Murah which is a couple of doors down. So consequently I can't blame them for the luke warm food in the baine marie not being warmed up, but I do take issue with the miserable amount of food given from what was left over from the lunch diners yet charged full price for. Nasi campur for Rp33,000 which consisted of a small amount of rice, two spoons of chicken and literally one spoonful of a beef dish. Much better value elsewhere. I double check that I'm walking into the right place next time.More
