It was raining when we awoke at the Morefield campground in Mesa Verde. Went into Cortez for breakfast. Pippo's hit the spot. Mostly full, good service, large to senior serving breakfasts from french toast to breakfast burritos. All good.

Planned to go to a different joint down the street but discovered that other one was cash only so Pippos was the place to go. It was great! Best diner food around and so cheap. Great service too (and they take credit cards)!
Stopped in for breakfast, lots of locals come here. We ordered huevos rancheros and chile omelet. Both were around $7.85 and came with hash brown potatoes and your choice of bread or pancakes. They have a senior (62 and older) menu which is a bargain....More
Small diner on Main St. The food was good and my order came out quickly. It is very strange walking thru the kitchen area to get to the rest room.
