Good choice of a restaurant in this city full of great options. Unusual menu, good food with nice wine list. Restaurant is small and can get tight. Not too pricey.

I came out with my bff's and found this little sweet spot after findings some delectable cigars. I would have to say that our waitress Carrie Anne made this night a night to remember by serving us well treating us like family!!! She was awesome and my night with my beasties one to remember!! Would def come again!!

Just off Bourbon Street, this wonderful bar has a happy hour with glasses of wine for $5.50 and $10 cocktails, which might sound a bit steep, but it comes with a huge serving of bacon - probably 8 pieces, nice and crispy. And a warm baguette with herb butter. Delish. Also got a $12 goat cheese salad that was a... More

This place was right across from our hotel so we thought we would try it out. We were glad we did not only was the food amazing but the service was probably the best service I have ever had anywhere. We sat in the courtyard and it was so beautiful and romantic really had that French Quarter feel to it.

I'll start by pointing out that the staff are all lovely. Very friendly and patient. They were happy to make recommendations and answer all questions. For a wine bar, the wine list was surprisingly short. There were certainly enough options to choose from, but nothing got me overly excited. The food is where this place lost points with me. I... We are so sorry you were not 100% pleased with your visit to our establishment. Our wine list is comparable and in most cases greater than other wine bars in the city of our comparable size. We only stock the highest quality of wines and most customers have no problems selecting a wine that they enjoy. Our selection of wines... More

My group was enthralled with the bacon happy hour concept! The cocktails were good and the service was very warm and friendly.

The inside dining area is small with few tables. Fortunately, the weather was great and patio dining was an option. I won't call it fine dining, considering we were eating on a patio table with no table cloth (see photo). But the food was definitely worthy of a fine dining restaurant. We each had a salad: Warm Goat Cheese salad... More

Thank you for your great review of our establishment. Unfortunately with the wind and rain, table clothes are not practical for our patio. I hope you visit again. More

The place is very cozy! We had our dinner at the patio and it was a great place to eat our meal. Our choice was shrimp with creoule sauce as appetizer and after we had lamb with pureé. Both plates were delicious, very tasty. We recomend for sure! 😊

This place is a little off of bourbon street. Great location and great food and wine! It is definitely on the pricy side, but the food is worth it. We had the crab cakes as an appetizer. Very good! My boyfriend had the rack of lamb, which neither of us had ever had before. It was cooked perfectly and tasted... More

This beautiful two-story building was erected in 1809 by Antoine Angué where he opened the Vieux Carré’s first Creole Bistro called, The Restaurant d’Orleans. Today, the property is owned by the noted local business team of Pam Fortner and Earl Bernhardt. Lovingly renovated with its prestigious past in mind, The Orleans Grapevine continues the tradition by offering discriminating diners the best in fine dining and an extensive wine list in a beautiful, intimate yet relaxed atmosphere. We feature many unique and seasonal special dishes & specials.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
