After a FULL afternoon/evening on Bourbon Street, this place fit the bill for a late night breakfast fix. The food was good and filling. The waitress was patient with my indecisiveness from my state of mind and the price was not expensive at all. The neighborhood is off the beaten path and probably not a good idea at that hour... This is something of an unassuming looking place that could certainly do with a degree of updating, but this belies the fact that it delivers good food at decent prices. We were there for breakfast and it was possibly the best we had in New Orleans. I had the steak which was well cooked and arrived very quickly.

Based on reviews I was hoping for better. Went on a Sunday night. We started with fried green tomatoes. They were good but were placed on a bed of shredded lettuce that kinda made the bottom soggy and had some kind of unnecessary cheese poured on top. I had bacon and eggs and my husband had seafood omelet. Bacon was... More

Surprised to find great blackened fish at this small casual place. Everyone in our party liked their meal; especially the bottomless bloody mary! Only one bathroom here.

Great location and great menu. House salad with grilled chicken was enough for 2 people to share and be very full.

Visited Daisy Dukes twice while we were in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl and it was an excellent breakfast. The second time we went (a couple days later) the waitress remembered us and made us feel welcome. The food was delivered as ordered, quickly and hot. This is a definite need to eat at place for breakfast.

I first arrived in New Orleans late in the evening and after 20 hours of traveling, i didn't want to go out. So the hotel staff recommended this place, and told me I could order from there and have it delivered. Well let's just say in the space of a week I ordered food 3 times and visited twice. The... We asked our hotel concierge where to find breakfast early afternoon, and he recommended Daisy Duke's, just two blocks from the insanity of Bourbon Street. You can actually get breakfast here all day and night - they're open 24 hours. The service is fabulous, with jovial wait staff who are accustomed to partying patrons. Prices are reasonable @ $6.95 for... More

At Daisy Dukes Restaurant in New Orleans, we don't do it fancy. Instead, we emphasize on creating a true southern atmosphere and providing the best cajun dining experience you can find in New Orleans. We have found great success in always serving great food, for a great price all with great service.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
