Food was wonderful. We had the porterhouse for two and it was perfect. Magnificent waiter, Jimmy was very attentive. Actually, all the waiters were friendly and attentive. Located on the St. Charles streetcar line so it was very easy to get to. Highly recommend! !

We experienced cold weather and wanted to have dinner closer to our hotel. Mr. John's was a wonderful meal and the bartenders gave us a free drink to make us feel better about the weather!

Reservations are a must! Quality of meat is premium. NY Strip is their best but all are good. Salads and sides are typical but very top flight. The service is polished and room is a bit of New Orleans culture. The place can be loud...More

We had a corner table. I had the Ribeye (medium rare) and my wife had the filet mignon (medium) and we were very happy with our choices. I am usually adverse to having butter put on my steak, but it had a wonderful flavor. The...More

After reading reviews about how delicious the steaks were at this establishment, I could not wait for my opportunity to partake. When we arrived at the restaurant for our 6:00pm reservation the hostess was polite. There were only 2 other parties seated in the restaurant,...More

What is the price range. I see no prices on website, a bit unusual, or is it "if you have to ask, you can't afford it"?
