The food was just okay, the service the same. I had higher hopes. I ordered the Alligator Po-Boy and wasn't impressed. Don't waste your time when there are so many better seafood options in NOLA

Personally, I like this place a lot and pop in when I am in town. I first stumbled in years ago when I just wanted a cup of gumbo and was not disappointed. These days I get the two step, with a cup of gumbo...More

Don't judge a book by its cover. This place was right next to our hotel and looked amazing but was a big disappointment. I ordered shrimp, dad ordered crab cakes and Katie ordered alligator po boy. The shrimp was not fresh and the alligator was...More

If you want the tourist spots this ain't it. Imagine a cafeteria from the 1950s with a Jetsons decor. The food is standard NO fare, nothing more or less. I came for lunch to get away from a conference and was enjoying my oyster poorboy...More

All I can say is stay away! Food not fresh, service was horrible and the place was not clean! Wish I could say something positive!

Actually we left because we never got served. Placed an order for a ham/cheese sandwich and left after 45 minutes having not been served.

We arrived into New Orleans late on a Thursday and couldn't get into our hotel across the street (Courtyard Marriot) due to Mardi Gras parades and the roads being blocked off. So, we hesitantly walked into the Pearl to pass the time for a few...More

Stopped in for dinner last week before the Friday parades. The shrimp po boy was great, as was the gumbo and jambalaya. Wanted to eat again on Saturday for lunch, but they were closed for mardi gras week.

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
