One feels he is in New York at this bar and such a feeling is accentuated more so by the crowd of people there. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed with nowhere to sit down. All the chairs were taken. The...More

This hotel is amazing at Christmas and has a lot of history. The history can be found in its bars. Don't miss the Roosevelt Hiotel Bar!

Staying in the hotel and picked up an old fashioned to enjoy in our room. Lovely bar and crowded as heck but bartender was very efficient.

Very nice wine , very tasty snacks . Service was a bit slow as I think they were overwhelmed with all the Christmas visitors, but we enjoyed it all nonetheless.

While on business sitting at the bar one evening a young bartender offered his own creative martini concoction called, 'Fell Off The Porch'. After three, dropping from the stool was a fall enough! Great relaxing beautiful bar for sure.

This is a cool place to visit if you are staying at the hotel. I would not make a special trip. Limited/no stools to sit on at the bar. The architecture is cool and the antique displays add to the atmosphere.

Service is great and the drinks are so yummy. The atmosphere of this bar is great. Dark and elegant. We stay at the Roosevelt often and never miss a chance to enjoy this bar.

Had a drink in the bar before going to dinner. Old school elegance and service. Tried a Sazarac for the first time and, wow, it was wonderful. Strong but wonderful. Yes, the prices are high but for a special night or vacation trip, definitely worth...More

Sazarac is the classiest bar in town with a legend t go with it. Drinks are about $18 but that's normal for a fine hotel. Bartender Willy is the best. Big smile and great drinks. can get crowded after Saints games but its fun!

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title

away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
