We went on a weeknight with reservations in early January. It is a popular place so reservations are best to avoid being turned away. Men must wear a collared shirt which raises the bar for dress, in a good way. They have some of the classic New Orleans cuisine but also fresh fish prepared and presented in a top notch... More

Great choices and variety of food. Allen, our waiter, was superb. All of the servers were very attentive. The food was excellent. My wife has to have gluten free. There were many choices that could be prepared for her. The seating was very comfortable and we never felt rushed. It was a wonderful meal.

We were amazed by the different kinds of fish on the menu!! My friend got the Sheepshead-it was sweet and amazing. I had the Drumm with chicken crackling crust. It was also delicious and melted in my mouth with a salty crust. My husband had the Scalibut. It was good, but we all liked the fresh fish better. Our desserts... More

If you're looking for the best fish in New Orleans this is the spot. Everything is prepared perfectly and the flavors are always good. I won't eat fish anywhere else.

The ambiance was just what I was looking for to surprise my mom. I flew in for her birthday and showed up to dinner first. They were helpful and had good food

The fish is always fresh & prepared deliciously. Biscuits are yo die for so you have to stop eating them or you'll never make it to the fabulous dessert.

I loved almost everything about this place. The food was wonderful as was the service. This biscuits were awesome and they just kept coming! The only downside was my husband wears a cowboy hat and they told him that they have a no hat policy. Another gentleman at our table had a baseball cap on, and at another table, a... More

As expected this was a good meal. Good options and a nice selection. Happy with my choice. Waiter was very pleasant - would happily return. Would not go if you did not like seafood as being a seafood restaurant this is primary the menu.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
