The owner - Joanne - was interesting and gracious, the staff was accommodating (I'm lactose intolerant), the food was superb, and the service was excellent.

We went to Upperline on a recommendation from our son. Had the tasting dinner. It was excellent—every part of it. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Atmosphere was charming. Great way to begin a visit to NOLA

The locals love this restaurant for the awesome food and warm service. It's a bit off the beaten path in a neighborhood, so not a lot of tourists. The food is outstanding and I love the atmosphere - you are in a New Orleans cottage-style...More
