The food was really good but the restaurant is really small. Its nice to sit at the bar area because you can see them cooking your food. I ordered breakfast, the food was seasoned to perfection! These were the best pancakes I have ever had.We waited a long time for the food but it was worth it.

This is my favorite restaurant for family dining & the home of the best breakfast!!! I have been coming near every year sometimes twice a year since 2004. I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and home cooking. I took some pictures of some of the plates we ate this year in August. Plus our server Ms. Diana was excellent and our... More

We were looking for a good New Orleans breakfast, and it was recommended by our AirBnB host, that we give Anita's a try. When we first pulled up in our Uber, the place was in a little bit of a run down area, and the outside of the building, at first, had us questioning the recommendation. When we walked inside,... Came here after a night of partying and oh my the food was delicious. The service was excellent and we were seated promptly. When you go remember to bring cash only but they do have a ATM in the inside

As always, this place is the best for a down home breakfast!!! I always come here when in the City. It's fast and good eating. The pancakes covers the entire plate. You will need a carry out box!!!

Very nice and quaint restaurant. Went there for breakfast and was quite pleased. I did not see egg whites, but asked for an egg white western omelet. I was greeted with a smile and a 'no problem'. The omelet was huge and I could only eat half. It comes with cheese grits (you can leave out the cheese if you... More

Visited New Orleans for a 30th birthday and our shuttle from the hotel suggested Anita's. The atmosphere was just like home for me and the breakfast was amazing! They are know for the pancakes but the hashbrowns are even better. Next visit I make, I will visit again.

I heard that this place is good for breakfast however it just reminded me of a low budget waffle house. The bathrooms were disgusting and the food was ok.
