We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express by the airport because of an early flight out the next day. We walked to the Voodoo BBQ & Grill - PERFECT in every way. I ordered "The Carnival" which is a VooDoo BBQ Signature item consisting of...More

The meat was tender, moist, and nearly fell off the bone. Deliciously seasoned with mild spiciness. As sides, I chose the baked beans and sweet potato souffle. Washed down with an ice cold bottle of Miller High Life and a lemonade on 19MAY ~1400. Couldn't...More

This is our go-to place for dinner before flying out from the NOLA airport. We have tried several of their choices and have always been pleased. The spareribs and great, as is the pulled pork sandwich.

We found this restaurant mentioned in a book about New Orleans, called Eat Dat. We then proceeded to eat all over the city during our 6 day stay in March. This was by far the BEST food we ate! It is NOT fancy. But, that...More

We order the pulled pork and spicy sausage as main plates and were very pleased. Service was bit off and out of lids and straws for drinks. Sides of gumbo and mac&cheese were good. Not a fun of the sour cream based potato salad.

We decided to get a takeout and we were not disappointed! We had the gumbo and the jambalaya and both were amazingly good - definitely the place for bbq! Staff were super friendly and helpful too - highly recommend

Based on the Tripadvisor reviews we decided to go here for ribs. It was fast efficient, serves the right kind of beers for me and best of all the ribs were great!!!

I only saw the one room in the front for eating. There's a hallway on the side that I believe leads to the restrooms. I don't know if there's a room in the back or not.

Description
Located right off the St. Charles streetcar line in the beautiful historic Garden District is the flagship location of VooDoo BBQ & Grill. Voted by locals as one of the top BBQ restaurants in Gambit's annual "Best Of..." issue and known for dishes such as their pulled pork, which is cooked for 14 hours over oak and pecan wood and served with two sides and a piece of garlic-buttered Texas toast, as well as the corn pudding, which is a cornbread souffle baked with whole sweet corn. VooDoo BBQ & Grill is the sound, the soul, the taste of BBQ, New Orleans-style. Brisket, pork, chicken, gumbo, salads and burgers all with the spice and magic of Louisiana.
