We visited this restaurant for a late lunch during our chritmas vacation in NOLA. We did not make any research before visit the place we just saw it pack full and went with the flow but for our surprise was not a tourist trap the place is really good. The service from the hostest to the servers was excellent. We... More

We visit this place at least once every time we're in New Orleans. They have good beer, great oysters, friendly quick service, and great prices. Not to mention the perfectly convenient location! Even if you have other dinner plans, I would highly recommend stopping by for to-go beers and/or an order of oysters.

If you're a craft beer enthusiast, go somewhere else (like Avenue Pub). The beers are mediocre, especially if you like hops. On the positive side, The raw oysters were excellent. Ate oysters and drank a beer sampler at the bar, so can't comment on other food or table service.

Seat by the balcony if you can. Beer samplers are ok. Service is good. A little loud ao a would not suggest to bring a toddler.

I stopped in for a quick sample before heading to the airport. All of the beers I tried were pretty good, could have drank any of them again. I was at the bar in front of the oyster bar - I don't eat oysters but was impressed by the freshness and size of them. The gentleman shucking made it look... More

Stopped their for lunch out of desire for a beer. The beer was average at best. The food unfortunately was the same. We had the seafood cheesecake which sounded good in concept but not in execution. The fried shrimp poboy was a large portion but was undressed. The shrimp were also poorly seasoned. By far my worse meal during my... More

We sat at the bar and watched the guys shucking the oysters. Derrick was very impressive with his opening skills. Of course I had to try some fresh oysters. Derrick opened them up right before my eyes. Can't get the oysters much fresher. The oysters did not disappoint. The beer was good. Crab cakes were good as well.

I've been to Crescent City Brewhouse a few times, and am always very pleased with the service, food, and beer here. I am big into craft beer, and find their beers are solid. I really liked their rauchbier. You can do flights of beer to sample them all. Their food is also fantastic. I have had their oysters which are... More

We popped in after we arrived in town as it was just a few doors down from our hotel and who can resist a good housemade beer. The service was wonderful. Darius was our waiter and was so pleasant. Some of the best service I've had in a long time. Had the oysters and they were so good. Others had... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
