Stopped here for a muffuletta. DELICIOUS! The bread was soft with a crispy crust. Bubbles (Jennifer) was an awesome waitress! She made the place! I can't wait to come back!

Order a Muffuletta half will be more than enough the fries are a small size will cook them to order so will be hot. The service or lack there of is what we got. The servers talk more about the other employees who are not there. My glass was empty most of the time. Central Grocery is better.

Really great staff. Food was just right. We had a couple of beverages. Sitting on the balcony was nice on a cool evening. Priced just right. 80 bucks for food and drink and location.

I own a restaurant, and our visit to Frank's on new year's eve was like sitting n my own cafe, surrounded by family, both working and eating, talking and having a good time. We had calamari which was good and we liked the red sauce. I had a muffeletta which tasted great, even with a bit too much oil. It... More

After a couple hours of walking around, we were tired and were herded in by the guy at the door promising lot of variety and new orleans style food. The vegetarians in our party ordered the veggie po-boy and muffaletta and were severely disappointed. The kids and grown up ravioli (same dish, different portion sizes) were the only things reasonably... More

We were saddened to arrive too late to Central Grocer since they close at 5pm. Inquired at the tourist office as to where we could still try a great muffuletta and were walked a few doors over to Frank's. Literally right near Central Grocer and with lots of seating. They slightly heat their muffuletta and it contains ham, salami, and... More

We stopped here after dinner and a few dinners. We wanted to try a mufflettes. The service was great and let us bring in our drinks. The sandwiches were great? I would get agian. Also tried the canola which was good. The shell was alittle over cooked or old, but the richotta was awesome and done the right way. If... More

We stop into Frank's at least once every trip to NOLA. We like the Muffaletta that the toast and it's become a favourite over the years.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
