Wow. Thank you Justin and Sam for such a great dinner and excellent service! We came here on recommendation and were impressed. Small and intimate with impeccable service. We had a jambalaya app, my husband had duck, and I had drum. We had crème bruelle for dessert, which was so good! I stuck my head in the back and told... More

Due to the good reviews this place receives, it has been on my to-try list for some time. I tried it on a Saturday night in October. It wasn't busy, which was great, Got sat right away. The service was extremely slow and not attentive. The food was mediocre at best. I had the BBQ shrimp which was just bland.... More

We let the chef select our meal for us. The food was fantastic. It started with a Andouille sausage and shrimp appetizer. This was followed by flash fried oysters, over spinach. A perfectly cooked lamp chop with tangy Bar-B-Que sauce served with mashed potatoes was followed by grilled pork chop over greens. All in all a great meal.

We completely lucked out and found this place. This is our first visit to New Orleans, and the French Quarter can be a bit overwhelming, but our meal at this bistro was completely amazing. This chef is doing something special! Highly recomend!! (Don't miss the crème brulé)

We have eaten here many times on our visit to this great city, but last nights meal was so disappointing, this place has gone so far down hill, overpriced for what you received, to not let a piece of steak bleed and then serve it on mashed potatoes that then proceeded to be full of blood, I won't be going... The food was just down right awful. Such a shame, the restaurant looks like it could be sooo good. Old and tired :(

I knew we had to visit this restaurant as soon as I saw the description of the Feed Me dinner on their website. Arrive hungry if you opt for this, because you will leave stuffed to the gills. This is a small place; I think we saw three waiters for the entire dining area, but we didn't really have to... More

Was looking for something under the radar, good but not super pricey. Found it in this nice little place. Good ambience, attentive waiter. Chef came out twice during the meal to check on what we thought. I had the chicken and my wife had the fish, both were seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I would definitely come back and recommend... More

Even though the menu looked great, we decided to do the Feed Me menu, where the chef comes out and asks what you like, dislike, are allergic to... We did the three course menu, and OMG. One course was better than the next! The seared duck with sauté greens and potatoes was fantastic-perfectly prepared. But, the best was the pork... More

My wife and I visited New Orleans for a second time and the first reservation we booked for the trip was for Louisiana Bistro. Our last experience in 2015 was terrific and memorable and this one was no different. Both times we tried the "feed me" option where the chef comes to your table and sizes you up and creates... Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
