Located across the street from the Hotel Monteleone, it's the best place in town to get shrimp and grits and BBQ shrimp.

We came for dinner as a large group but had the attentive service levels as if there were only a few of us. The food was impeccable and drinks to boot.

Final celebration of 75th birthday weekend for family member. It was perfect - with little band singing HB song and dessert menus for keepsakes.

I have been coming here for years and the food is consistently excellent and so is the service. My favorite is the shrimp Chippewa. It is always great.

Went in to grab an appetizer and drink before dinner and they refused to serve us because we were sitting at a different part of the bar. Other seats had been available when we came in but we didn't know the rules. Bartender barked this information to my husband and then barely tolerated us getting drinks. Should have left right... We went her our last night in New Orleans. I had the shrimp and grits and it was WONDERFUL! Our waiter was great, full of good recommendations. The ambiance isn't as good as some of the other restaurants we visited but the food was better!

The atmosphere was electric had to wait to get a table, went in as it seemed popular. Ordered prawn as an appetiser it was very good recommend it. From there it went downhill. Waited patiently as being a Saturday expected a wait. Steak knives went down after 10 minutes and waited in anticipation for the filet to arrive. People came... More

I enjoyed my meal and the food wasn't overly seasoned and the service was excellent. I would go back again.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
