The food was amazing and super fresh. Everything is homemade. Good ambiance. The only drawback is the servers were bickering the entire time I was there which made it uncomfortable. They do have really cute outside seating and multiple locations throughout the city.

This is a Cajun cafe named Mona's. Pictures and web site incorrect, but address and phone correct. Great CAJUN eats. Quick friendly service. We were in NOLA for National Youth Gathering. 25,000 mostly Youth were in town. 15 on our group this visit .

Their sautéed vegetable platter was so so so good! Best I've had at a Greek restaurant! Also, they are pet-friendly, which is wonderful!

Going to Mona’s in Mid City can get to be habit forming. The Middle Eastern Restaurant and International Market has just what you need to hit the right spot. Many selections and fresh baked goods are in the Market. You can expect quick service and a pleasant atmosphere within the Restaurant. There is indoor and outdoor seating with lots of... More

I love Mona's but the Banks St. location is the best of them all. The service is friendly and the food is always prepared to perfection.

If you need a quick snap and you don't want to spend too much that it's your place but don't expect a top notch restaurant. The quality is good and the service fast and the personnel is kind.

This is very casual. Very inexpensive place to eat. Great gyros sandwiches. Also the best Lebanese tea anywhere. You can sit outside or in. They also have a small grocery next to the restaurant.

5pm Monday & an empty restaurant. Fast, attentive service that could not disguise the awful "spinach pie". It was a tough piece of pie crust dough folded to conceal a blackish brown substance that I presumed was spinach. Absolutely tasteless. My companions had the gyro plate& vegetarian plate, which they liked. Avoid the spinach pie. The pitas were wonderful, warm... More

My wife and I never eaten food from a Middle Eastern restaurant before but after this we will go again. The kabobs were amazing as were the other items we had. Loved it.

Went to Mona's on a Saturday night and found some things to be wonderful and others mediocre at best. There is parking but not a lot of space so be prepared to park on the street which is fine. The interior decor has a Middle Eastern theme but its not fancy and not done very well - assuming that they... More
