Friday evening. Table for 2. The menu was limited to fast food. The chips and salsa were below average. While my companion's soup was delicious, my chile relleno had so much cilantro that I couldn't taste anything else. Moreover, instead of a shell that was...More

Visited for lunch . The chicken fajitas were delicious. Fresh salsa. Guacamole was to die for. They even made me a skinny margarita, with tequila and fresh lime juice, because I can't have the sugar. Can't wait to visit next time I'm in NOLA.

We were lucky to find this neighborhood spot in Uptown. It looks relatively unassuming, but the food was delicious and the service was super friendly. If you're staying in this area of the city, I definitely recommend grabbing a meal at Panchita's!

Not a huge menu, but what they have is very genuine. The mole is excellent. The chimichangas are not your usual big burrito covered in cheese. They are little crispy fried rolls with nice gooey stuffings. I'll be back to try more items.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch. They offer daily lunch specials. But I bypassed that for enchiladas with Chile verde. I was very pleased, the best mexican I've had in new orleans up to this point. Will definitely stop by again soon.

On a recent family visit the service was terrific, but the food was marginal at best. The house made salsa's are decent but not great. Margaritas were watery and tasteless.
