We enjoyed a magical evening at Marti's in November! Chris Banks, the manager of Marti's, helped us plan and execute a seated dinner for 90 people. The cocktails at the lovely bar started the evening with a fantastic jolt, the passed appetizers were delicious and...More

The restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we are so pleased we went. It was a bit out of the way and not full for a Saturday but if you want fantastic food and service away from the madness of Bourbon Street, this is...More

The current incarnation of this historic corner restaurant is exceptional. It is meticulously managed, beautifully furnished and properly lit. We were personally attended to by the maître d. We ordered an unprecedented four courses. Appetizers included fois gras and a crab remoulade in a white...More

Over the years, there have been a number of great restaurants in this building. Marti's continues that tradition. The atmosphere is somewhat formal, yet relaxed and comfortable at the same time. The food and the service are both excellent. And in contrast to prior restaurants...More

Had a good friend in town from S. Francisco so she knows her food. We were late, the manager took great care of us, we both loved it.

We were a group of 4 and had a wonderful dining experience at Marti's. The cuisine, which we had several different selections, was outstanding. Perfect temperature, portion, presentation. Each bite was delicious. Our cocktails and wine (recommended by the very knowledgeable sommelier) were superb. Waiters...More

I have eaten at Marti's a half dozen times in the past year - I try to make it with each visit to NOLA. The food and presentation is top notch. I have hosted small buisness groups there for dinner several times, and I have...More

Marti's has restored elegant dining to a long standing location of New Orleans. The atmosphere takes you back to a time when the city's elite dined at this location. The service ranks at the top of New Orleans restaurants. The menu is creative, imaginative and...More

Very good experience overall during a very hectic time of year. Dining out during Jazz Fest can be a challenge. You want the Total NOLA package of first class dining. Marti's hit a home run with our party! Bridget Balentine

Marti's has reopened and is worth a visit. The night we went they were only serving in the bar (it was very quiet), which was fine with us. The full menu was available and the food was delicious. Bartender/server very nice and attentive. The dining...More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs
across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied
around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

Housed in the historic Gentelich building on the corner of Rampart and Dumaine. Marti's is a reincarnation of a New Orlean's Classic. The original Marti's was the hub of French Quarter social life and the New Orleans arts community in the 1970's and 1980's. With exquisitely prepared and locally sourced menu that features Mississippi Rabbit Two Ways and the freshest Louisiana Seafood available. Sommelier and General Manager Chris Banks has designed a progressive modern cocktail program and a worldly wine list to pair with Chef's creations. All of this in a dining room with unparalleled ambiance and a nostalgic bar with a remembrance of old New Orleans. Marti's Summer Closure: Marti's and The 'Peristyle' Bar will be closing for renovations for the remainder of the summer. We appreciate your patronage and apologize for any inconvenience. Look out for a Balcony Bar and Private Event space in the fall!! Can't wait to see y'all then! Follow us on Twitter and Facebook for updates
