5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 days ago NEW via mobile

I live in the Gentilly area of New Orleans and there's nothing better than stopping here after a long day for a snowball, icecream or poboy. They also have what I like to call "ballpark food." Cheap nachos, hotdogs, chips and sodas. There's always a line but I've never waited more than 5 minutes. LOVE this place and so glad... More

We went to the Harrison Ave location. Nectar flavor was our family favorite! A great local thing to do for dessert--and at an amazing price!

Had the nachos and a medium snowball, the nachos were good but drowned in cheese so would recommend getting light cheese . Also the snowball was half way down once he finished putting the syrup, it was also too strong, not enough ice for all the syrup. Nothing to go out your way for, the only reason I went was... More

Summer's about to start down here in NOLA, and whether you're from the tropics or the arctic, you're going to be looking for a way to cool your body's core temperature when you're down here. Enter NOLA Snowballs. FYI, we've only visited their 908 Harrison Ave location, but I imagine the other one is just as good. I know there... More

Staying in Lakeview

Neighbourhood Profile
Lakeview
Lakeview extends inland from the shores of Lake Pontchartrain with much of the area reserved for family-friendly City Park. Home to the New Orleans Museum of Art, the Besthoff Sculpture Garden, Carousel Gardens Amusement Park, and the city’s own lush Botanical Gardens, City Park is a New Orleans gem and the perfect spot for outdoor fun with as much of a mix of culture and/or amusement as you would like. Beyond City Park more great excuses to stay outside beckon, whether on land or by boat. Developed a good deal later than most other New Orleans neighborhoods, Lakeview has a distinctively different look and feel compared to other parts of the city. Fans of mid century modern design and contemporary architecture particularly enjoy leisurely drives around the residential streets of Lake Vista, Park Island and along Lakeshore Drive.
