We went today and my son was set on ice cream. They were out of ice cream and he was heart broken. The manager went out of her way to get ice cream from a corner market. Our server Matthew was great and the food was amazing! I highly recommend. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

Wait time is minimal and they have great food. Thoroughly enjoyed eating here and visiting the open market nearby.

We came today and was absolutely blown away by the service and food. Tara Thomas was such a sweetheart and made us feel at home! She was attentive and very kind which made the experience even better. The crawfish boil was absolutely delicious--very flavorful. The fried shrimp and oysters were outstanding; the best we had on the trip. Definitely come... More

Ask for TJ! He made us the best Bloody Mary we had anywhere in Nola. He gave us lots of cool recommendations to check during our stay in Nola and told us all about traditional New Orleans food. Highly recommend!

Crawfish boil, red beans and catfish, southern brewery holy roller IPA capped off with prailelne topped bread pudding. No pretenses! Miss Tara took care of us guiding us to the perfect combo. We will be back.

This was our first time eating at French market, it was great! The charbroiled garlic oysters were some of the best we have had this trip! I had the shrimp and grits and loved it!

I always loved to go here and get crawfis for the past 8 years or so. This trip was total disappointment. We ordered our 2-1/2lbs crawfish from there boil and our crawfish seemed like we had been re-heated / leftover crawfish. They were mushy and were not juicy. There was bunch of pieces and parts in our order. Needless to... More

Our first food stop in the french quarter, market and we were not disappointed. Stopped in mid afternoon and were promptly seated. Chugged down a couple of LARGE cold beers, a holy roller and a wheat, with a dozen large and delicious oysters, and the feast started. Wife had the crawfish etouffee, and i had a pound of the redbugs,... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
