Had meals here a couple of times as we were staying in the hotel. Very friendly, helpful servers and good food.

I popped in here because it was significantly quieter than the main bar. Pete's offers a good selection of beers and an ok menu for food options. Nothing special, but not bad.

Great bar, especially for a large group. Bartender was incredibly friendly, decent drink options and fun off-bourbon street vibe.

Only 2 tap beer selections. Slow service. Nice decor with classic chandeliers and paintings. This is part of a larger hotel...not sure which one. Our server did her job, but was not personable.

Although I only had the buffet breakfast, it was very high quality (to match the price I suppose). Janice was my server and was very attentive and a pleasure to chat with. I will return for sure when back in NOLA.

I think about 15 years ago this restaurant (as well as the hotel) was very snazzy. Now it is dated and sad. We had breakfast each day included with the price of our room, so I really can't complain. But if I was paying for breakfast here - wow - I would simply not pay for breakfast here. It is... More

Pete's is conveniently located in the Intercontinental Hotel. We had breakfast - a bowl of steel-cut oatmeal and Belgium waffles - which were very good. This is a nice restaurant, very clean, comfortable, with attentive staff. Pricing is a little high but the convenience and all the above make it worth it.

Great salads and even better service. We were too tired to go out for dinner one night and stopped in Pete's. Our server was the best! She was very attentive and kind....I wish I caught her name. We had salads and pizza. The salads with chicken were perfectly done. Pizza was pretty good. It's the service that's the best about... More

We weren't too hungry, so we shared a pizza. It was very good, and our server was very friendly. Also had the breakfast buffet one morning. $25 p/p is high, but the selection was good and the food was very fresh and tasted great!

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
