Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Getting there on ski is the first challenge; don't even try if you are uncomfortable with narrow, occasional icy ski-routes. But if you are, Bratkartoffel hütte offers you a unique, authentic Austrian mountain-hut experience. Hugely different compared to the many newer, larger cafeteria style places...that call themselves "hütte" (hutt). The menu is simple and robust, but very tasty and just exactly what you need on a cold day after hours of great skiing.More

It is the first time we ever tried this place in Sölden. It was so good here. The food came very fast and tasted really good. It is not expensive here, but there was a lot of food even in the small portions. The best...about this place was the silence. You could not here any ski lift or any skiers. It is not easy for beginners to ski down to the restaurant, but it is definitely worth the trip. - SimonMore

The Alm Hütte is completely made from wood. A few table on the terrace , safe from wind. The staff is nice and fast, the way of cooling beer is funny and sensible. Kaiserschmarren was a big portion, with a soup it is enough for...2 people. Az Alm Hütte csupa fából, kedves kis terasz egy pár asztallal, szél védett. A személyzet kedves és gyors. A sör hűtési technikájuk nagyon találó és vicces. A császármorzsa nagy adag , levessel akár 2 emberre is elég.More

Our first real ski alm....I loved it. Nice garlic bread and snack selection to re-fuel the teens on our ski. Good lunch menu too. Excellent find on the slopes when we were there in December

We got here by coincidence during a hike, and what a charm! Very small authentic place where beer is cooled in fresh cold spring water. Advised to try here are one of their potato dishes. Delicious, especially after a long walk. The service is fast...and friendly. The views from the terrace are simply amazing! This place is also called Goldegg Alm.More

You need to take a detour from the regular skitrack. You'll make left at some point and enter on a narrow road (groomed, so that you can keep skiing). Just follow the road into the forest and at some point you will see the Hut....I don't know if it was the fact that we were very hungry or not, but here we had the BEST Bratkartoffel until now. The view is splendid, and after you are done, you can ski down the road for 10-15 minutes and you will get to the skilifts. The menu is quite simple, you have about 3-4 choices. Just to be clear, this is not a Michelin star restaurant. It's a quick bite place. Great pitstop after a few hours of skiing!More
