Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had an amazing time at Ice Q, especially the vegetarian option, which was second to none. Not to be missed if you are in Solden

The cafe itself is very beautiful and stylish. The staff is very friendly too. But the best point is the great view

We had am exquisite lunch after our mission through 007's lair next door. The food was delicious, the quality totally unexpected for a restaurant 3000 m above sea level. I've rarely had such a good Schnitzel.

In general I do have to say, the food is very good and the do have a long wine menu. But, the noise during lunch-time, as also skiing people are allowed to enter the restaurant, is unacceptable!! During our stay, a lot of Russian loud...people were there, they drank a lot of Vodka - which might be accepted - but not, for a rewarded restaurant during lunch time. This was just due to the fact that you could also enter the restaurant when you are skiing. The service during lunch time was kind of overburdened, as there were to many tables occupied. It looks like that the restaurant is offering different "shifts" so that they have to clear out the restaurant, what was new for us, especially when you are expecting a rewarded restaurant. So, the food was good, improvement for the service and if you want to have "alone" time it might be better to do the evening reservation, otherwise it isn'r comparable to other "2 Hauben" rewarded restaurant. The don't deserve it for their concept and service.More

We had a nice and pleasant lunch, accompanied by breathtaking views. We had a 3 course menu, accompanied by vodka martini cocktails and very good white wine. The food has a balanced selection and very good taste. The service could be improved just a bit....The price was also fair. And of course excellent for social media exposure.More

This restaurant is stunning. Food, wine, views, it really has it all. We had a table of 6 for lunch with possible the best back drop I’ve even seen out of a restaurant window. We ordered off the 3 course menu and the food was...fantastic and really good value for money. Just be aware that it takes longer than you think to get to the top of the mountain but it is well worth it and if you are feeling brave you can ski the whole way down after.More

We were on a ski vacation and booked a Chef's Table 4 days in advance. As soon as you book a Chef's Tabl, the restaurant commits to a table in a location next to a window with a view. It was a very special and...delicious meal (4-course menu, 1 glass Champagne & soft drinks). The service was excellent and in general we had a great time. We also combined the James Bond experience before the restaurant because we arrived a little bit early to the top. Those who book a ski pass for 6 days get free entry to the James Bond experience.More

We pre-booked the restaurant as a surprise for our friends birthdays. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. One of our group has to have gluten free food and this was not a problem at all for the chef as they even made...some GF bread! We had also asked for birthday candles to be added to our friends desserts to finish off their experience and once again this was no trouble for the staff. We all had a lovely time and highly recommend it.More

Very beautiful on the top restaurant. With beautiful landscape around. On our visit was cloudy, cafe was good, cake was also good, but we have to wait for it longer time.

We visited twice for lunch. One Day was magnificent the other was not so great due to the service in the terasse. Twice the waiter left the tablet whilst ordering. Wery rude. And the service was just not available as in not present. The Day...was in dire contrast to The Day before. To be fair only one waiter was the problem. All others where very polite and professionel.More

Views were truly amazing. We took chefs table menu, it costed 140e per person including class of champange. Food was okay, i really excepted something more special cause prize was so high. And service wasnt so good, i have been visiting so much cheaper fine...dining places ten times more special service. So if i ever go there again, i will stay just for drinks and watching views, not ordering food.More

We wanted to do the once a week evening meal but it was fully booked. Even getting in at lunch time was difficult but we we just able to do so only by eating at the back of the restaurant on the following day. However...this provided us with a less spectacular view but the benefit of not having to finish within two hours because of the next sitting - in fact we were there nearly three hours! How can you "rush" food like this - it is simply exquisite! Every mouthful is a delight. We matched the Char with a Riesling, the beef with a Zweigelt and the dessert with the....dessert wine (the cheapest full bottle). Of course we started with the ubiquitous Martini - shaken not stirred (I imagine they have never heard that one before). Service was absolutely spot on - a perfect mixture of helpfulness, banter and timing. We were a group of 7 oldies who have lived a little....oh alright....a lot! And we all thought that this was one of our most memorable meals ever. Next time we will do Chefs table!More

It's a trek to get all the way up but the breathtaking views are all worth it! And exist the best service and food despite being not so obvious how everything is carried up there! Generous portions, OK, not the cheapest place, but good variety,...and all very yummy. If you manage to get a table by the window, even better!More
