As the title says this is a great place to stop on your first day of ski school, located about half down the nursery slope. Lots of space inside and outside to sit out and make new friends taking in all the atmosphere and resting the tired legs. Gorgeous grostel too - only down side is the bathrooms are downstairs... Either for apres ski or a lunch break ( or dinner....) this is a very good place to go to get food and drink. It is just a few steps below the Soll gondola station and right on the skibus route. Even from the village it is only a 7-10 min walk. Good service, language no problem. Pizzas from a... More

Out of the gondola and a short walk for a beer. Ski car park is opposite. Don't have too much beer if driving as the limits are far lower in Austria than UK. Having said that, leave the car at your hotel for a change, get the frequent ski bus to the gondola station and you are there. Good selection... More

After a day on the mountain you can ski to the back door of the Hexenalm . Grab a pizza , the best in town ! And join in the apres ski with the resident DJ. Great atmosphere , great staff and between 430pm and 630pm the place is bouncing . Good mix of current music and the usual ski... More

Never stayed in the hotel but looks lovely. The bar is an exceptionally well managed, well equipped and fantastically atmospheric apres skis bar. If it's singalong euro pop with dancing on tables and trails of Congo dancers you're after then this is the place!!

Came here for a quite hot Choc and rum during a cold day! It's close to the lift station so often busy. Our server was very friendly and the drink nice. Didn't order food do can't comment on that, but would definitely visit again.

This place was so crowded when we went and we found none of the waiters were native German speakers, and then saw why-- visitors to this restaurant hail from all over the world. The portions were too big for my taste, but then again we did not hike up. Some confusion in serving us the right drinks and food, but... More

Deceptively large. Even when full the staff take your order quickly and get your food out to you. Standard Austrian fare plus pizzas. Will visit again next trip.
