This Inn is small and boutique. Little cabins surround a pool and restaurant. We went here for lunch. The appetizer menu has one item and they were out of it on this day. The salads were very good and ample in size. The burger was forgettable. If you like salad, go. If not, stay away.

For Californian's who have been everywhere and done everything. Attracts the crowd who have been successful for three generations. Same people you would see wine tasting in Napa, boating in Newport, walking in Balboa or shopping in Carmel. Non-diverse. Great Ahi sandwich- same as the 1% would be eating in Kauai before flying back to LAX or SFO. RESTAURANT: A... More

We had dinner at the 29 Palms Inn. They have live entertainment many nights. Great place to have a good dinner with a pleasant atmosphere. You can sit inside or out. They have heaters outside for chilly days or nights.

We had three dinners and bought three picnic lunches here. None were gourmet, but all were good to very good and the prices were reasonable. Service was uniformly friendly.

We ate there twice, found it to be a little pricey for the area. The food was generally very good. We had the pasta with seafood, and the pasta with Swiss chard, the pasta was cooked to perfection but the garlic was overwhelming especially in the seafood pasta dish, competing therefore with the fresh taste of the excellent seafood used... We were roaming around Twentynine Palms looking for Good Eats when we found this gem. Trip Advisor rated #1 and this proved to be true. Eclectic ambiance greeted us as we made our way past the pool to the nicely appointed dining room. We asked for outdoor table but a group reservation took most of the space. Our host did... More
