Maybe other places in Vela Luka have better view, but our dinner in Bata was fantastic, the food fresh and delicious with reasonable prices and the staff friendly and polite. We were only sorry that we discovered Bata at the end of our vacation...

This restaurant is conveniently located near the center of Vela Luca on Korcula Island. The meat and fish courses and the house wine were all very good, and the service was excellent.

Easy to miss this gem is worth looking for. The grilled squid was delicious, the scorpion fish smoky and fantastic. Friendly and competent staff run a busy, but smooth operation, have a great selection of high quality ingredients and attractive prices.

We were recommended to go here by a local at the vegetable market and were not aware of the Trip Advisor status. (we try not to go to the TA best listing as sometimes they rest on their laurels!) Looking for a lighter meal of seafood my husband selected Veal!!! It was huge and delicious, I had black seafood risotto.... More

Wonderful meal out with friends, slightly slow to start but a Posip white wine helped the wait to go cheerfully. Then a course of anchovy starters with bread followed by the seafood platter, fresh fish and a sea food risotto (all excellent ). Well worth a visit

Very disappointed as this place had good reviews. The service was poor, we had to return the house wine as it was "sour", the "pog" cheese was not anywhere as good as what we have had elsewhere, the octopus salad was the worst I've had and the "Plata Bata" was by far the worst dish we have had on our... Big portions of tasty and fresh sea food. Kind and obligingly host. Probably should reserve table on time.

I had the seafood pasta and my boyfriend had the black risotto, both were fantastic. So flavoursome and full of different seafood. Staff were fab and there was lovely atmosphere there. I would go back!!

My friend and I ordered a Plate for two. What we got, was ridiculous and a slap in the face. For 300 Kuna we received 80% of the plate the cheapest mussels possible with cheese, a slice of fish, fried shrimp, 2 grilled piece of scampi, few rings of fried calamari and one grilled squid with lemon slices. We were... More

We walked 30 min to come to this place and weren't disappointed! We ordered one seafood dish and one meat dish, everything was delicious and fresh. We saw locals coming for dinner, which was a good sign as well.
