We visited Ray's a few times during our visit. It's located right by the harbor and has an awesome view of all the boats and mountain views. I loved the blueberry mojito and they have great bloody Mary's too! We also had the halibut and chips and captains platter another day. Delicious!
Ray's has some very good seating by the water, but even if you don't get the best table the food is still the best in Seward (in our opinion). We ate here on our last trip in 2009, and it's still good. Great halibut.
We were looking forward to our first taste of halibut from the halibut centre of the world! We were presented with two fish finger sized pieces of reconstituted white fish in a thick crumb batter. Great place to eat right on the waterfront of the boat harbour. Specialising in fresh seafood and Alaskan King Crab. Yum. Standard prices but a great atmospher and good service.
Great location , stunning wiew on the bay. There is a large choice of tasty food. All we have eaten was very good with generous portions. We decided to have an other dinner there and we can confirm this is the best restaurant in seward.

I ordered crab cakes that were unedible and told the server but didn't get the choice to order something else and they were not taken off the bill either. Ordered pizza once I got out of... More
First time in Alaska, Seward was our destination. We visited Ray's on our first night, great service, yes it was expensive, but you get what you pay for. Being in the military, I've tasted the good, the bad and the ugly. My crab legs were huge, fresh, great presentation and served at the right temp. Same goes for my wife's... More
The place was bustling. Pricey as is everywhere in Alaska, at least during tourist season. Wife had a seafood salad she enjoyed and I wish I had ordered. I had crab cakes that were not so exciting.
