You want some food made with love and soul well here it is! I am a local and I hit it up once a week. Try the Chicken Fried Steak for breakfast or the Smoked Chicken Burrito for lunch. Those are my go to's, but in reality you can't go wrong on the menu from top to bottom.

Really good food every time I have eaten here, the coffee is not though. It is a really small seating area but in the summer there is outside seating, overall good food.i would recommend this place.

We ate lunch here on a Friday. It has an unusal look in that it is an old railcar., Our waitress was very friendly and we got a booth inside. There was not a great selection on the lunch menu and the food itself was just ok - nothing special. We saw a line of people ouside this place the... More

Breakfast sucks. We ordered two meat frittatas. One with hollandaise the other will green chili. Ate half looking for meat, asked the waitress who got surly. Cook seemed to be stoned. Apparently cook made an executive decision gave us their garbage lovers delight as they were out of meat and didn't bother to tell us. Waitress acted like it was... More

This is like the quintessential greasy spoon but with Alaska flair. Really great food and great service. There is always a wait for a table inside but its worth the wait. Especially breakfast. Delish!

Enjoyed a great, fresh breakfast in a fun, local atmosphere. Timing is everything. Seems like we hit it just right, no wait. Place is small-old train car, food was fresh and hot. Coffee and tea were great we'll definitely be going back!

At first I didn't want to go in but my friend wanted to give it a try. He asked and they said they did smoke their own meat so then he really wanted to try. So we did and I'm glad we did because the brisket that I had was great and my friend really enjoyed the pulled pork.Be prepared... More

Stopped here for a late breakfast on a Sunday morning. It's a small seating area, but we got a table that had just opened up. You could smell the smoke as you came in. My friend is an Eggs Benedict fiend and was wanting to check theirs out. The hollandiase was home made and excellent. I got toast, bacon and... More

Not to be missed if you are in Seward! Restaurant is in an old train car. The waitress, Vicky is the only one there and she really hustles. Amazing to just watch her take and deliver orders and clean tables. Pulled pork is excellent with several different sauces to choose from. My husband had the burrito and loved it. The... More

We chose to have breakfast here as it was close to the harbour and open. The carriage is small inside but there was a spare table. Food came very quickly and was perfect for our needs. I did watch a couple of Americans eat their way through a cooked breakfast with a stack of pancakes on the side. I put... More
