First night on our cycling holiday, chanced upon this restaurant. We had a super meal, oysters to start, scallops and steak for main, delicious.Mother and daughter front of house, swift service and very attentive. If we were staying another night we would defiantly eat here again.

For a tiny place up a back street this was a lovely surprise. Three of us had a seafood dish which was really good but I had the fixed menu osso bucco with some crusty bread which was absolutely scrumptious — so simple but so beautifully cooked and presented. It went down very well with a Leffe Bruin. Possibly the... More

Very traditional Breton cuisine and hospitality. Made to feel very welcome, particular;y the three year old grandson. Food well cooked and very generous. Nothing too adventurous, but I recommend the house kebab: sensational! Had the house pichet of red (or two). Also very good and a bargain to boot.

We had lunch at Le Chaudron while visiting the beautiful city of Morlaix. We ordered Moules Mariniere. They were delicious. The restaurant is quaint, and the service excellent. I highly recommend eating here when in Morlaix.

Hidden in a small street on the right side of the hotel de ville place, we found this treasure. We had to repeat two nights in the same restaurant just because we knew it was the best. We tried the homemade foie-grass (impressing), the famous bruschetta (indeed it has to be famous, but be careful, it is enormous!), le magret... More

Morlaix is slowly filling with a mixture of trendy generic restaurants and kebab houses, but Le Chaudron shines out as a beacon of traditional French fare. Le Menu Pecheur begins with either smoked salmon or langoustine, prawns and oysters....go for the latter, a huge mountain of fresh seafood. Main courses excellent, dessert menu extensive and cheese board highly recommended. wine... More

Just had a lovely lunch here, having been turned away by a couple of other restaurants as they'd finished serving, this one seems to be open as long as you like. We're here for a couple of days so will probably go back go for another meal.
