Always looking to find a unique dining experience when I visit new places so tried Smiths for Saturday brunch. The food was nothing to rave about but good none the less. Reviewers had said it can be noisy and it was so not a place for folks to go who want to communicate the old fashion way by talking but... More

Smith is decorated like an old hunting lodge - animal trophies and all - with a great selection of beer, cocktails, and French- themed food like delicious mussels and quail, as well as standard fare like mac and cheese.

First time @ Smith, no disappointments at all. Started off with balanced Cafe Vita (no lattes available, but brunch 'tail options clearly available. Service friendly and efficient, and the vibe was good - full house, people eating, talking, but not crazy loud. Good mix of peoples. Had the breakfast veggie hash with poached egg - an excellent mix of mostly... More

Smith is, yes, expensive, but it's so worth it. It's a delicious place for brunch. For all the negatives of it, it's still worth the visit. BF & I come here often. Eat the chicken & waffles. They are a little spicy, ALL delicious!! (The coffee is swill, go down the street to Cafe Ladro and treat yourself.) CALL AHEAD... More

Great service, excellent atmosphere, fast service, attentive staff. Try the pitcher of pomegranate mimosa - fabulous. One negative: it can be loud when it is busy. Hard to hear others talk. Everything else was Fantastic...

Although it took a while for us to be seated—they seemed a bit short-staffed and the hostess was running water around as well—we had a wonderful time. The drinks were really classy and a touch whimsical; we had zucchini fritters and mushroom risotto and a seafood dish and we're just blown away. We'd love to come back on a quieter... More

A great local place we visited for brunch. The rustic interior with pictures of presidents on the wall fits well into this restaurant. Smith is known for their chicken and waffles, burgers, mimosas and everything brunch. The service was excellent, the chicken and waffles were savory and sweet and the mimosas hit the spot. I had Egg Benedict, which was... More

All three of us had the chicken and waffles. It was wonderful and the coffee was very good as well. We sat at the bar as the wait was over half an hour on Saturday morning. It is definitely worth the wait. Great local atmosphere as well.

This place nailed it tonight. Friendly prompt service that did not hover. Great apps (street corn was great). Great cocktails. Wine on tap was nice. Dinner was loved by all--younger daughter had bacon added to her mac and cheese and loved it. My brick chicken was awesome.

I really enjoy meeting friends here after work for drinks. It's has great neighborhood feeling. The service is good as are the drinks. It can get loud when busy (so be prepared for that).

Thank Alec D
