Had the best breakfast on Sunday morning. Arrived between peaks (about 9:30 am) and didn't wait terribly long for a table. Eggs cooked perfect (over medium), bacon thick and delish, and pumpkin pancakes to die for. Hubby had corned beef hash - it's always good. They close between 2 and 3pm. Breakfast only here.

Just what I need in the morning. Good strong coffee, no frills. And a pancake that takes 30 minutes to bake and fills my plate and some to take home for later. Nuff said. Be prepared for a considerable wait on the weekends. The aromas will keep you from leaving for a quicker table elsewhere...

This is one of the chain of OPH. I have been to many and they are very consistent, but this one is one of the best. Excellent service and the food is always predictably good.

This is an old school pancake house with food that has only gotten worse since the 50's. If you just have pancakes, great! Everything else is disgusting. The food expensive and is made with canned ingredients. The decor appears to have been updated in a 50's cabin style. I can't understand why there is always a line, except maybe that... More

I have been to several of these establishments from San Diego, to Portland to Seattle now. This is my time time at this location. Went early on a Saturday, 7:30. We were one of the first 4 tables seated. If you go too late in the morning, as you know you may be waiting to get seated. But at least... More

My brother raves about this place and I don't...know...why. The omelet was good but not great -- just did not have enough of the ingredients in it. Corned beef has was not good. Pancakes were good. I will try someplace else next time.

Food was decent, they did have their own parking lot (a rarity in Seattle) and had a little waiting area with free coffee to drink while waiting. Inside was cutely designed to feel like a mom & pop place not a chain restaurant.

This was our first breakfast stop on our vacation to Seattle, and like all other OPHs, it didn't disappoint. Loved their gluten free options, the main reason we check out every single oph everywhere we travel. The location of this particular one was breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. The only complaint we had was that in subbing out the... More

Funny story. I came to Seattle for a visit and my friend's friends wanted to take me to a restaurant that didn't exist in Dallas. The first thing she offered for breakfast was The Original Pancake House. Before I got to respond that we had plenty of The Original Pancake House in Dallas, she called in and made a reservation.... I was invited to Sunday breakfast by a local friend of mine. This is one of those restaurants that has managed to survive, despite the rise of national fast-food chains. We had a brilliant breakfast of pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns, and remarkably good coffee. Crazy as this sounds, it is really worth hopping a cab and visiting this... More
