We go back to Mawadda Cafe over and over for the delicious kebabs, hummus and baba ganoush. It also has the BEST garlic sauce on the planet. We order extra every time. This is a family run restaurant with simple decor. You can eat at the small restaurant, or order out and WOW your friends with a meal it looked... More

It looks like their gyros are the thing to get after watching the customers go in and out. We had some kabobs and dinner and it was fine but unfortunately I can say great. We still looking for something better in middle eastern cuisine.

the owner is very friendly, he let us sample things we'd never eaten. Food is fresh, great middle eastern food in Rainier Valley

i was a bit put off by the outside look to Mawadda Cafe but it was highly recommended. Glad I gave it a chance because the food is amazing. We both had the falafel salads and a side of their rice. Best falafel I ever had, salad was fresh and crispy with delicious dressing. The hummus was great and there... More

Delicious Iraqi food south of the ship canal, in Seattle's south end - rare! Simple, unpretentious, food to take out or eat there, made to order.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Seattle. The food is fresh and delicious, the staff are friendly, and the menu has a specific style that cannot be found elsewhere in seattle. Go there now.

The food is wonderful, delicious and usually seasoned. Not like typical Middle eastern food, and also different from what I ate in Iraq, but addictive. I had and loved Kufta with tahini, served with yellow rice and a special tzatziki sauce with fresh chives and dill. Also some distinctive almost sweet hummus and good pita. No alcohol. The service is... More

Truth be told, this could be called a "hole in the wall" restaurant. It's in a small strip mall with limited parking, but there is usually parking on the street. The food is incredibly delicious. We usually order take-out and eat it at home. It is not fast food, so if you eat in the restaurant, you will wait for... More

We have eaten here several times, most recently last night and as always the food was delicious! The gyros are so yummy, especially with the Greek fries. They have spiced chai tea that is worth the drive by itself. We have also had the shawarma, which even my picky 6 year old daughter loves. It takes a little bit to... More

The warm and friendly Mwadda is an amazing place that articulates many aspects of Rainer valley. The food is excellent, the diners are diverse, and the staff friendly. I have never had a bad plate, and I have been nearly a dozen times.
