5 Spot offers great food but the service was slow and there's no parking near the restaurant. But they do have decent prices.

Went for brunch with a friend last week, I live on QA but I haven't been here in probably 20 years. The food was good, so I'm not faulting that. But the cafe is now massively crowded with tables packed in everywhere, where it used to be a more calm & relaxed atmosphere. It was like a cattle call. Long... More
I have always liked this place. However today was an exception it was terrible the pot roast was tough and I did not like the flavor of the mashed potatoes. The clam linguini tasted good but it was way too watery. The clam chowder was good.
Oh my - cannot stop thinking about the breakfast we had here. We ordered the huevos rancheros which were very good but the most incredible breakfast experience occurred with the Cinnamon Roll French Toast - seriously wow! I've eaten a lot of french toast in my day but this was so incredible that we ate here two of the three... More
Love this place. Great food and fabulous service. Took some friends to this diner for the first time and everyone was very satisfied with their meals. Good food and lots of it. I love the way they flip their menu and the restaurant decor every four months. Keeps things fresh and exciting. We experienced the Cuba theme. Very fun!
This was my second time visiting the 5 Spot. I absolutely love this restaurant. The place is casual. It changes themes and menu items often, which means that you could find a totally different menu 4 months after the last time you ate there. I had the honey glazed chicken. It was delicious! I also had the Madagascar Vanilla shake.... More

Didn't have much in the way of expectations, as my teenage daughter said "I can make this work". Everything was really good, including the fried chicken ( daughter's choice), farro bowl, and Cuban sofrito. Not... More
We went here at noon, but I decided to order a basic breakfast of a short stack of buttermilk pancakes and an egg over medium. Both arrived way overcooked. Though I wanted to send my meal back, we were really short on time because of an upcoming appointment, so I opted to eat what was in front of me. My... More
Stopped here on our three day Seattle adventure, good T/A reviews. We were completely thrilled with the food, good sized portions, spiced just right...def worth a stop and near iconic Kerry Park.
