I usually just grab a loaf of bread when grocery shopping in the market. I am partial to the miche and the epis, just beautiful, but the baguettes are also perfect in French style. I am usually rushing and carrying bags so I rarely get the luxury of a pastry and espresso, but when I have I have been very... More

I like to stop in for some desserts and a nice loaf of bread. The ham and cheese on a baguette is a nice lunch. Too many tourists in line during cruise boat season, but a great stop for a latte and dessert on a rainy afternoon.

This place always has a line. But the line moves fast and when you finally get to see the bread and pastries it's worth it. They have great macaroons and some of their other eclairs and pastries are also awesome! It's a bit pricey but then again it's prime location in Pikes Place so it's expected. Most likely won't find... More

While strolling through Pike Place Market, as you pass by Le Painter, you have to stop because of the wonderful smell. The pastries are delicious as they flake apart. The breads are wonderful for adding to a dinner and if you need an espresso, they do it it well. If you can get a window seat to watch all the... More

Le Panier is a French bakery located in Seattle's Pike's Place Market, just a few feet away from the first Starbucks shop. The pastries are excellent, freshly baked and delicious. My favorite is the almondine (croissant filled with almond paste and topped with shaved almonds). They baked these in small batches throughout the day. You queue up to order from... More

This place is a favorite, small and cozy, something you might find while walking in a small town in France. It is easy to walk past, so make note of the address. I like it for an early breakfast, a good place to meet friends or business associates.

Best French Bakery in Seattle! And it's at the colorful Pike Place Market. At busy times you may have to stand in line, but is worth the wait!!

Le Panier has a great reputation in Seattle for a reason - it's probably my favorite bakery of all bakeries. But - if you want to check out the goods and not stand in line for a ridiculous amount of time just for some of their yummy pastries - GO EARLY! This bakery is on the most heavily traveled sidewalks... More

Delicious pastries and tasty sandwiches. The service was quick and ample places to sit after you pick your stuff.
