On July 19 planned to have dinner and was 1/hr wait to get a table which I did and finally hostess sat me. No one handed me a menu, only thing waterman served water and bread. Waited, waited and waited for a menu while seeing the waitresses tending to all tables around mine except me and even folks who got... More

On a very hot day in Seattle (87deg)..this very small restaurant was filled with lots of chatter and laughter as servers squeezed through the maze of patrons in their very efficient and friendly manner. Before we sat down, it was obvious this place was going to be a very enjoyable night for us...and so it was!! ALL the food is... More

Chose this restaurant because it was within walking distance of Seattle Sheraton. Had to wait, but spent some of the the time pleasantly exploring the neighborhood. Found the waiting area in the bar to be hot and sort of claustrophobic, and worried dining area would be same, but no, it was bright and cheerful. Food was good (liked the meatballs),... More

Searching for true neopolitan food in seattle is difficult. This restaurant has the best lasagna ever, great veal and chicken dishes, wonderful homemade pastas, sauces are terrific and wait staff extremely friendly and accommodating. A very small, local restaurant that is topnotch. Crowded, but well worth it

We have been going to Machiavelli's on every visit to Seattle since the mid 90's and have never been dissapointed. Reservations not accepted so if its busy (and it always is) the wait will be worth it. The small bar area is a great spot for waiting! Seating in the dining room makes good use of the space without cramping... More

This is my favorite spot in Seattle. I have tried nearly everything on the menu and have very rarely been disappointed. My personal favorite is the cheese ravioli in tomato cream sauce. The sauce is perfect, not too creamy with a subtle flavor of mushroom. Also try the spicy vongole or a side of vegetables. The latter is a very... More

We were so Happy to find this little gem in Capitol Hill! the Italian bread..well, you can easily eat the loaf! and be purrfectly happy. I only wish there was some baked garlic to smash into to oil/vinegar. We Had to try the pizza, small, enough for an appetizer/meal ..we ate half ..and finished the rest with our meal. we... More

Husband and I went hear on our last night in Seattle. This restaurant was recommended by a local woman we met while out browsing.
