Oh how I love Grand Central! You'll find reliable a delicious breads, sandwiches, soups, baked goods and coffee at all of their locations. This location on Eastlake is a nice place to grab a very casual meal, great for families, kid friendly. Parking on the weekends is better than during the week. On my latest visit, I had a fantastic... More

The bread and pasties are always amazingly delicious! The cookies are to die for and so are their quiches, pies and salads.

Food was very good and quickly done to order. Sometimes particular staff seem to treat customers indifferent at times. It's not that I expect a super high level of service, but the staff seems overworked or just a bit jaded when I encountered them. Still, the food was nice and the place clean. Bathrooms seem a bit run down and... More

I really would like to support these guys as they are in my neighborhood. I'll still go in to buy bread, but they always mess up my orders, which is driving this bad review. I've given them multiple chances to get it right over the months.

Just went here for the first time by myself, it was pretty busy around 1PM but the line went quickly, I ordered a tuna melt and it was very yummy!! Order did not take very long at all and everyone was nice.

We can always count on the Grand Central brand -- excellent pastries and breads. Been eating their fate for years and have never been disappointed. Parking isn't easy for this location, but love that it's near the lake.

I am not a coffee drinker, so I had to find something to occupy my time, this sweet snack is it. It is croissant dough in a rectangular shape with a magical honey glaze over it. A slice of paradise, not too sweet, just enough sweet to make you want another one. The Latte Dunker, excellent. Not to rest on... More

Lunch stop in this nice little indoor forum holds the great smell of baked goods. The use fresh bread to make your sandwich to order. They sell other baked goods if you are looking for a quick snack also.

Generous is the word that comes to mind. I'm here twice a week, and the quality of the food and service are always generous in the sense that their work matters. The peasant batard is the best thing ever; toasted with butter it's practically a meal. Of all the food places in Seattle, I'd be most heartbroken if this one... More

We were staying at nearby hotel & went for breakfast & coffee. Great food & friendly people in a beautiful area. Charming old building with lots of shops.
