Hubby & I had the Alaskan. It is, king crab, and amazing mix of mussels, crab, clams. Just sooo tasty. It's really the draw of the area. Near Pikes market, nice inside entrance.

This was my second visit to the crab pot. I really like this place. The seafood is good, a decent selection of beer. We visited on a Saturday and had no problem getting in. The service was pretty good. It is a little pricey but worth it.

If you're downtown and want to cook total crap this is the place to get it. My wife is from the bay area and was a little disappointed because she is so fond of fisherman's wharf. If you order the whole crap they put some type of seasoning on it. If you like your crab with nothing on it make... More

Informal, use your hands kind of place! The chowder is good, but portion is really small! But seafood platters (dumped on paper...remember informal?) were excellently yummy! A bit expensive, but then I don't eat here all the time, maybe once in two years!

We ate dinner at The Crab Pot Seafood Restaurant and enjoyed our meal. The service was good and the food very tasty. We ordered the crab salad and there was a good amount of crab in the salad. This is not a "high end" restaurant and the checked tablecloths and bowls on the floor for people to throw their shells

I went in here, paid a lot with my wife and our friend, but we ate well and walked out feeling full. The problem is seeing how much more it reflected on our currency, since we were visiting from Vancouver, Canada. The service was great, the food was great... I just wouldn't eat here again because of the prices though.

Thank LambdaP
