Seafood needs to speak for itself and be the star of the dish at a seafood restaurant. The server was nice the king crab was confusing with a shell filled with spicy mayo sauce on the plate and very little king crab. I did not pick up the bill so I have no idea how much it cost. The fingerling... More

As long-time residence of the area we frequently visit Saltys for Happy Hour. The view is amazing but beyond that the restaurant is tired and the menu has changed. The prices went up and the quality and selection has gone down. The furniture in the restaurant is old and ragged. The carpet is torn and faded. The restrooms are extremely... More

Shuttle service from our hotel, took us straight to our seats with waterside seats. Seafood chowder delicious, Wife's Mahi Mahi and my Scallops were excellent and Baked Alaska was a fun experience.

We met a friend here for Happy Hour. We had a great table with a view of the wind-waves and then city lights. "Dinner" was a series of HH foods, prawns, calamari, fish & chips, sushi. All were very good and tasty. A nice Cab accompanied them. There was a singer who was good, too. Even though there were lots... More

Salty's is my favorite restaurant in the city. Not only does it offer spectacular views of the city, from across the water, but the ambiance and food are second to none. The staff is friendly and the service is outstanding. It's the perfect place for a special occasion!

Made a reservation (I recommend it) and asked for a table by a window. Got the best table in the house for a view! Great, great service and the food was top notch! The seafood was fresh and prepared perfectly and we didn't wait 10 minutes between apps, soups, main course and desert. Sooo good! It was also decorated so... More

Very nice surprise, was recommended to go here by a friend, and we had a great time. My wife and I are very picky, but the food here was surprisingly good, it nearly matched the view which was by far the best view of the city in Seattle. Highly recommended.

Took my wife for her birthday celebration dinner. We both had the king salmon which was a little overdone but tasty with the zesty sauce. The seafood chowder was excellent. Service was always attentive and not overbearing. Salty's has the best happy hour menu. We should have started earlier and then move to the dining room for dinner.

When we dined at Salty's on Alki, we found the view to be absolutely stunning. Even on a cloudy day, you can clearly see the beautiful Seattle skyline. However, the food at this restaurant is mediocre and overpriced. We ordered the Steelhead and the Salmon. Both tasted delicious, but we found the portions to be a little bit skimpy. There... More

Visiting from out of town, I took my family here for dinner. The atmosphere and the views of downtown Seattle at night were wonderful, the food less so. My mother loved the ruby trout, but I found the coho salmon to be disappointingly prepared and not very flavorful, the "Brussel sprout salad" an oddly slaw-type concoction that tried to make...
