Service is fast and extremely nice. You fill your order on a paper and hand it. Then yhey will prepare it for you. Deserts are succulent they look like lebanese pastry.

The menu is pretty much a handful of sandwiches loaded with meat. I've tried the cheese steak and the barbecue, and they did not strike me as anything special. It was hard to taste anything beyond the sauce out cheese. For me, the only thing that really recommends the place is that the food comes out super quick.

I had heard about this place for a long time as the mecca for corned beef, having a Ruben attack I decided to try it. Without a doubt this is a winner, killer Ruben, big juiciest corned beef I've ever had, Ill be a regular here. The sandwich was huge with perfect balance. The corned beef was awesome. I also... I probably first tasted this corned beef in utero. I'm not kidding! My parents were living in an apartment nearby when the Market House opened in 1948. I remember (in the old days) the fellow behind the counter would stick a very long fork thing into the brine barrel to snag a piece of corned beef to my mother's specifications.... More

I felt like I was at home. NYC. This place knows how to make a sandwich which is a rare find. Great meat and personally I love the atmosphere. Nothing fancy but you sure can see where your food comes from. Not much between the kitchen and the dining area.

The location is close enough for me to walk from the office to grab lunch here. A co-worker suggested I give a try after I asked him where he got his amazing smelling sandwich. I've never had issues at lunch rush getting and grabbing my food. There is sometimes seating depends on the time of day. Customer service is always... More

Love the sandwich! It was a hot Ruben filled with lots of meat. The bread was grilled to perfection. The pastrami looked great too! Fast and delicious!

I started buying corned beef starting back in the early 70's, as did many of my other friends. It was the BEST. Last Christmas and then again this Christmas, I purchased very large pieces for Christmas dinner. It was very poor last year, but I thought it might just be a fluke. Not so.......once again ...........it's nothing like it used... More
