Village inn is a clean, great service, friendly environment, friendly servers, and amazing food. You don't have to wait very long and if you're alone the servers might make son small talk. Overall, its a great place not very expensive and you should go.

We were so disappointed last night when we stopped for dinner. The meatloaf dinner was not available, soup was luke warm, onion rings came 10 minutes later, mashed potatoes were watery, and coleslaw was old. Ugh! Poor quality coffee for $2.69. We won't be back.

This has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Anchorage. Usually, they have a wonderful menu, especially for breakfast which you can get all day. The food was still good. I had the California omelet (which has avocado in it). But the service was very slow, and the omelet must have been waiting awhile to come out, because it... More

I've been here twice and both times the food was mediocre at best, and the service horrible. I had a crepe that was as thick as a pancake. Asked to have it redone, and second one was as bad. Waiter was absent for about 15 minutes when we asked for the check. Cashier said she would remove the crepe from... More

We often eat at Village Inn on Northern Lights BLVD. behind Fred Meyers location. They are always fast, friendly, and clean. I recommend them for breakfast, lunches, or dinners. We usually have our grandson with us and they always make him and us feel welcome. They have excellent waitresses and waiters. The manager usually says hello to everyone and helps... More

Next to Holiday inn express near airport. Wanted fresh cooked breakfast instead of buffet food. Had their ultimate skillet. It was excellent and very filling. The place was clean and staff was friendly.

It was raining, we had just left the hospital, stopped in for Breakfast for dinner. So glad we did. I had an omelet with hash browns. We also had scrambled eggs with pancakes. Everything tasted very good. The service was spot on, so we were very happy after a long and very tiring day at ICU. We will come again.

This reminded us of our Perkins "back home in Minnesota". It was wonderful and provided the most food on any plate we had seen! The decor was artsy and we actually had teenagers who needed a doggy bag! The food was delicious and truly generous portions! We loved the staff and the proper amount of attention and friendliness! Go team!... More

Food was ok, nothing to write home about. Prices were ok, service was rather inattentive. two out of three orders were wrong. Place was not too busy to use that as an excuse for poor service. Not bad, but also not good. Skip it.

Mediocre at the best. This place use to be busy all the time and now it's a ghost town. The food is like cafeteria food and didn't feel like it was prepared very well. The competition is better and seems to use fresh local ingredients. I would avoid this place until it gets better management and a better head cook!!
