Welcomed immediately and treated very well. The price was friendly! Lots of seating. The menu has a lot for vegan and non. The atmosphere was busy and yet appealing. Artwork provided a cultural feel. I enjoyed it!

A coworker and I stopped here for breakfast after a Friday morning client meeting. The place was packed on a Friday morning. You order up at the counter and then pick a placard and they bring the food to your table. Huge and varied menu even for breakfast which would satisfy any diet. The food was very tasty and they... I was at R.E.I. and saw the Middle Way Café down the strip-mall and decided to stop in and check-it-out. Great place for a mid-day lunch and break. They serve quite a full menu all day (M-Fr) from morning at 6AM until early evening at 6PM and (Sa-Su) from 8AM until 6PM. I enjoyed a full bowl of excellent Southwestern... More

Middle Way is always on my list for Anchorage, and a regular go-to for the best breakfast in town (my opinion) and awesome lunch as well.

Good hot food, wonderful salads and sandwiches too, you really can't go wrong here, and the desserts are worth it. Even their salsa is tasty. The squash soup with some kind of Thai chili kicker is excellent.

I so badly wanted to love this place! Recommended to us by locals, we were looking forward to a delicious breakfast. It's a big place with lots of seating and a casual vibe - you order at the counter and they bring the food out to you when it's ready. I had the California omelet, described as a "three organic... We came for breakfast. Our food looked great but it was cold. While eating, I found a hair in my omelet. So disappointed. We have always enjoyed coming to eat here before.

I found Middle Way Cafe by searching for organic restaurants in Anchorage, and what a jewel! While not 100% organic, Middle Way does serve organic coffee, which was a Costa Rican bean on my visit. The lunch line was long, so allow plenty of time. I opted for "Middle Way Combo" of soup and sandwich (on their gluten-free house-baked bread)... More

I've noticed that meals in Alaska always seem to lack veggies and after 8 days here, I was dying. So glad I stumbled on this cafe. Outstanding food reasonably priced for the area

Happened to be in the area when shopping at REI...and stumbled upon this bustling cafe next door. What a lucky find. Order at the counter and find a table. The sandwiches are delicious but huge. We didn't realize we could order half size (which I recommend). The turkey cranberry on gluten free bread was delightful and I was so happy... More
