If you are visiting Hoover Dam and are traveling west and want a bite to eat afterwards, wait until you get to Henderson or Las Vegas. If you are going east into Arizona, you won't find anything until Kingman, an hour and a half away. In that case the High Scaler is an ok choice. The selection is actually pretty... More

Prices a bit high but you are a captive audience at a tourist destination. Has both cooked and refrigerated items.

Tis a perfect day to visit the Hoover Dam. We are on record for "not liking the High Scaler Cafe. However, we do like the bronze model of a High Scaler; the model is probably a bit more "portly" than the actual High Scalers. We like that the outdoor seating can be used today. And we join the quey for... More

This is a typical fairly basic cafe which provides all that is required of it. Its the only place to eat at Hoover Dam and knows that it has a somewhat captive customer base and the prices are a little high for the standard of the cafe. Having said that, you can sit, eat, drink and gaze at the Hoover... More

When visiting Hoover dam and in need of getting a bite you may not have time to go back to dine at Boulder City. This place is OK, will serve the purpose. Nothing sophisticated but decent selection of standards. We sat outdoors with great pleasure and delight looking at the Dam.

This place is not average! you are sat eating good quality food whilst being seconds from one of the greatest views and man made structures in the world. You can't call this place average when that is your environment. This place was like a bloody mirage to me... driven two hours, hungry, firsty and I see this place, the only... More

Nothing spectacular, basic takeaway type items. Was busy when we were there, but didn't mind queuing as it was air conditioned & we needed a break from the intense heat outside. Suggest you take snack & cold drinks with you.

We were hungry thought we would get a bite here. We ordered two BLT's, one on bread and the other a wrap. Not very good, VERY dry and pricey for what it was. Would suggest eating in Henderson prior to getting to the dam. Wish we would have! Service on the abrupt/rude side. I wouldn't recommend eating here.

Once you clear security leading to the parking lots at Hoover Dam, this is your only choice for food or drinks. It's basically a small sandwich type facility without a lot of options. Yous can pick up prepackaged sandwiches or have one made for you. It is pricey as you might expect with a captive audience. Deli ham sandwich, cup... More

Very basic. Mostly fried food and burgers. Some salads and sandwiches but nothing that qualifies as a restaurant. Come here to eat because you have to, not because it's part of the experience.
