This place blows away all other ice cream shops I've been to. The flavors are varied, incredibly rich and delicious, and change often. The lines are often out the door. A visit to Ted & Wallys is a must if you're in the Old Market.

As someone born in Ohio where 2 of the top ice cream parlors are located, I was a bit disappointed in the overall experience. Now living in Chicago, our friends from Omaha took us here for an afternoon treat. My husband and one of my kids are allergic to dairy so usually it's not an issue to find sorbet at... More

Need a bit of creamy goodness? Where else can you see ice cream being made in the old fashioned way and have a flavor you have never had before? The flavors are often a little different than I have had before and that is a good reason to try this place out.

Homemade ice cream in creative flavors with mix-ins served in generous portions. Sometimes I drive across town just to get their vanilla with oreos! Don't be put off by the line on a warm summer night - it's worth the wait!

I don't know what the deal is or how they do it but the ice cream is amazing here. My family has been enjoying it for 15 years.

For a place that advertises 1500 flavors, it was surprising to find only four the night we visited – two types of chocolate, a vanilla, and candy corn! The ice cream is not bad, though I've had much better in places across the country, and certainly in the Midwest. It lacked the rich texture and creaminess I've had in good... More

While bringing sushi back to our room for dinner, we saw a guy with an ice cream cone in the elevator and soon realized we could see Ted & Wally's out of our hotel room window. We went back out to grab ice cream for dessert, and were glad we gave it a try! Made in a renovated gas/service station,... More

I will preface my review with this...I am an ice cream snob, my goal is to find the best ice cream shops no matter where I go. I'm not sure I found it here. I had the Dutch Chocolate & my husband and son had the Cantaloupe - the ice cream was good - nothing I would swoon over, but... More

My new favorite must stop when I'm visiting Omaha! Great and fast . Awesome ice cream. Extra creamy and huge chunks of gooey pieces! Loved it!

The ice cream is said to be made daily. They have a few parking spots (free of charge) outside the store. Right on the edge of the old market, so this is a bonus! The ice cream offerings are different daily, so be prepared to not always get the same thing. There are some seats inside to eat or sit... More
