Good thin burgers, hand cut fries, and I think "hand beaded" cozy dogs. I'd recommend going here rather than fast food places.

We loved it here so much that we ate here twice during our week stay in Springfield. It is a RT 66 icon. Hot dogs of all kind.

Well worth a visit. The original Cozy Dog.No thrills cozy dogs. Very tasty. You'll never eat a fairground corn dog again after eating here.

Stopped by on a recommendation needed a quick lunch during a break in training. Got 2 cozy dogs and an order of onion rings with a soda, under 9 bucks. The food was great, in and out ( ordered to go) in under 10 minutes. Food was fresh, watched them make it, taste was perfect, the was some seasoning in... More

Our son loves corn dogs so when I saw this place we had to stop. The girl at the counter taking orders was so unfriendly! You would think if your business is on the maps for "birthplace" of the corn dog you're going to have people from all over stopping by. Why would you place someone like her at the... More

We stopped here on way to downtown Springfield to tour Lincoln Historic sites. This cafe's claim to fame is that it is "birthplace" to the Corn Dog over 50 years ago. We tried them and they were good. The café has much in Route 66 memorbalia and was well worth the stop. A must if doing a Route 66 Tour.

When I found out I was going to Springfield I knew that I had to go get a corn dog and where better to get one than at the Cozy Drive in. Corn dog was good, and they provide vinegar for vinegar fries, which were also delicious.

I never understand why people on vacation go to national chains. This was a neat little Route 66 shrine. I can't stand corn dogs but my family was in heaven. The burgers were very good. A single is small so get a double. I love any place that has vinegar with the fries.

A fun place located on Route 66. Their battered and deep fried hot dogs served on a stick were called "Pronto Pups" at a little stand in Grand Haven, Michigan. If you are a kid, you will love them, if you are an adult, not so much. A fun place, especially if you have kids.
