Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic food, fresh catch. Cool restaurant with very friendly staff. It’s an old fisherman place and features a museum on the second floor. Worth a visit.

Most amazing menu to blow your mind in food experience. The house is so incredible to experience with an original 2nd floor from 1920! If you visit Eskifjörður - this is a MUST visit

During our holidays, we choose to book a table in this local restaurant which was next to our guesthouse. We entered by a little Door and the magic of the place started... a farandol of very tasty local sea food and meat specialities. We spent...an amazing moment. Thanks!More

I am a local (from the next town over...Neskaupstaður). I usually eat at this restaurant at least a couple of times a year. This was my first meal there this year and I was not disappointed. Very dish was basically perfect. Had the fish soup...as a starter. It was full of delicious seafood that was perfectly cooked. I had the reindeer as a main and it was just spectacular. Just the right amount of meat, cooked a perfect medium. Ended with the skyr, which was lovely. The service was very friendly and attentive, albeit not in my native Icelandic, but that is pretty standard these days due to staffing challenges in the Icelandic tourism industry. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I will certainly keep returning for both seafood and reindeer.More

This restaurant is down on the waters edge in a old whaling/fishing building. They’ve left all the related ephemera to those industries and adds a great atmosphere. Small menu with a few confronting choices… reindeer/puffin … but regular stuff too. Service is very good and...the food excellent!More

Great local food and a cosy environment. I had seafood soup as a starter and fish from the fjord as a main course. I can recommend both 👌🏻

It is a nice experience to visit the old harbor restaurant at a bright Icelandic summer night. The food experience was however very disappointing. Small portions for ridiculous prices. I ordered reindeer dish - the meet was dry and over cooked. My sister paid almost...6000 kr for two small pieces of fish. We were still hungry after dinner 🤣 typical Icelandic tourist trap. Very low service quality as well.More

Radulf's Sea House is located in a unique and astonishing panorama at Eskifjordur, The restaurant itself is a museum as a tipical fishermen house, wonderful. Shame the food is an average offer, no one plat will be remembered, and the service also is average or...lack of professionalism. Did not appreciate they weren't explain that the shark plate was more folkore than food, didn't see any happy to have ordered during the soiree. Fish soup and bacalao good, nothing else!.More

Lovely little restaurant in an old fishing house. The fish soup had wonderful flavor and probably the freshest fish I've had in soup since I arrived over a month ago. The hot chocolate cake with ice cream was light and heavenly.

We had lunch in this very interesting restaurant. We absolutely loved the decor and originality of the place. Can I say it's pretty cool? My wife had lamb and I had fish, both very good. The staff was friendly and prompt. Overall it was a...very nice experience.More

Loved the atmosphere of this restaurant and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had the puffin for an appetizer followed by the reindeer meatballs and catfish for main dishes. The food was spectacular and would recommend this place!

The children had minched reindeer and spotted catfish wich they loved! I had reindeer steak and it was amazing! The children loved the museum upstairs, and the pirate toys they have in a coffin at the restaurant downstairs. The service was very quick and the...staff was very helpful and friendly. They don't have a childrens menu but you can get half portion for half a price of the menu for children (even for 14 y old which was the first time in our travel around Iceland). This is the 3rd time for me at the restaurant and I will definitely be there for the 4th!More
