We visited this place with my wife quite accidentally, restaurant from the outside is quite modest. However when you come in, is very elegant which refers also to the service. We orders two starters and fish as main courses. Everything was sensational and excellent . Only minus is the price we paid... 120 EUR :)

Back for our umpteenth visit. Delicious starters - ten different ones so be warned - followed by perfectly cooked fish. Serious food at serious prices - not unreasonable and you can avoid this by ordering fewer dishes. Good wine recommendation. Lovely place and been consistently good for over a decade.

three course meal featuring the recommended fish -mullet I think. The place was not very busy which is perhaps why the owner became irritatingly over attentive, whilst ineffective regarding service. Totally cold plates were delivered for the main course. The desert was plonked down before we were ready or had the chance to chose the alternate dish. Overall expensive for... More

Headline says it all, really. We were staying nearby and Da Ugo came recommended. The pasta, the fish and the sweet were all very good but as others have commented the bill was rather on the high side.

Is it a glamorous and stylish place? No, as some other reviewers have remarked, from the outside it may seem a simple trattoria. It's not. Do they experiment adventurous and elegant nouvelle cuisine recipes? No. Are they cheap? No, they're not. Should I consider having a dinner there? For us the answer is 25 times "Yes" - the times we... More

This restaurant is totally overpriced for the poor meals they're serving. The waitresses are very friendly and nice, but don't speak any other language except Italian. In the entrance of the village is a big sign with the commercial for da Ugo, ,where they pretend that they speak 4 or 5 languages. We took the tourist (trap) menu for 35... More

Excellent fish restaurant very close to Primo Sole B&B in Lu Bagnu. Is somewhat pricey but worth a visit!

I read all the reviews here on tripavisor, even though we know this restaurant since years. We can confirm that the atmosphere is lacking of modernity and originality and that the service is quite "family style" (it's owned and managed by a family). But when it's up to the food there's nothing comparable in the surrounding. Always fresh fish cooked... More

Overpriced and lacking in atmosphere. The staff were miserbale and patronising. Don't visit this restaurant and dont visit Lu Bagnu...go to St Tintino instead.
