So happy that we found Saltara and made the short drive from Santa Teresa for dinner one night! We only wish we had found it sooner and could have gone again! The local Sardinia white wine was delicious! The orange scented ravioli was so light and delicious! The cheese filled mint ravioli was amazing! We also thoroughly enjoyed the pork... More

We ate here for three nights whilst staying at Saltara. The menu is varied and caters for meat eaters and vegetarians. Food is cooked fresh and well presented. The portions are huge, and after the first night we chose to share some courses. My favourite was a vegetarian pasta flavoured with orange...sounds a little strange but tasted so delicate. My... And to make it clear, we had great food before. But this was the topper! We found this during a day trip. The staff is wonderfull, warm hearted and very friendly. "La Mamma" speaks Italian, Spainish, French and English. The interior is cosy and equipped with lots of old photos and traditional items. The wine was great and the food... More

In the middle of nowhere however easy to find as there are multiple signs at all the roads towards Saltara. We have had dinner here with Pasta and porcetto, the best we have had in our vacation. Nice terrace and very good service.

Tired of the chaotic and overpriced restaurants in Santa Teresa? This place is definitely worth the short drive through the countryside. It offers some traditional dishes with the "porcellino" (piglet) being the signature dish. The atmosphere is laid back but refined at the same time. The prices are in line with Santa Teresa but the quality compensates. I would definitely... More

My first visit was many years ago and the impression was very positive. I returned this summer and was amazed the setting is out of this world. Beautiful. The food, not like the usual agriturismo with a set menu, was very varied and delicious plus well presented. A vast menu of traditional dishes plus local specialities. The usual agriturismo in... We not only stayed on the property (see separate review), but we ate dinner here three nights. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. The 'zuppa', as well as the gnochetti (sp?), were so good you had to close your eyes and sigh happily every time you took a bite. And don't get me started on the tasty pig... The service... More

Getting there was a bit complicated (especially if you are not local), but it definitely worths going. It has a rustic ambient and very welcoming staff. There are two set menus - go for the small if you are not hyper hungry! All the dishes from the aperitives to the dessert were delicious - the roasted suckling pig was the... More

This was our first time eating at an Agriturismo restaurant and we weren't too sure what to expect but we had read the very good reviews on Tripadvisor and decided to try here. We were warmly welcomed by the lady owner and promptly seated. When we were there the evenings were still a little cool so we sat inside but... More

Book ahead, especially if you want to sit outside in the garden. The reception at Our hotel made a reservation for us, altso for transportation. We got a car from Just Sardinia who charged us 50 euro for a return trip from Santa Teresa. Should have checked the price first... The garden at Saltara is beautiful, sitting under a large... More
